To link a digital camera sensor via a frame grabber to a PC is not the problem anymore. USBx, IEEE1394, CameraLink and GigE provide standardized interfaces that enable simple connection with your computer platform.

Scene adaptive control of camera parameters is a complete different issue and demonstrates one of our particular domains of expertise.

Camera functions like focus, zoom, pan, aperture, white balance etc. controlled by servos are not parameters that can just be changed "manually" via the PC but can be automized upon your requested selections of particular visual features extracted from the image scene.

Image sequence analysis can always be integrated into an entire processing concept.

For object tracking we use for the computation of the optical flow methods that are robust against changes in scene illumination.
